Welcome

Rainbow World Maritime Training Centre (PVT) Ltd is a company incorporated in Sri Lanka in 2012 under the Companies Act No.07 of 2007.
Located in the historical ancient hill capital city of Kandy, RMTC was established to cater to the much needed Maritime sector in Sri Lanka. Located in a peaceful environment ideally suitable for students. This is the first Maritime Training Centre in the hill capital of Sri Lanka.

The company’s prime focus is on conducting maritime training courses for Seafarers, Ex-Navy personnel, Security companies, and prospective candidates applying for Sri Lankan CDC and seeking for a career at sea.

Headed by experts with sound knowledge, experience, and background in the Maritime industry, Legal sector and Education sector.

RMTC was awarded with the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Certification from Indian Register of Shipping, on 3rd of May 2013 All STCW courses are approved by the Ministry of Ports and Highways Merchant Shipping Division in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Mission

The mission of Rainbow World Maritime Training Centre (PVT) Ltd is to provide each student a diverse education in a safe, supportive environment that promotes self – discipline, motivation and excellence in learning. The training centre joins with the community to assist the students in development skills to become independent and well trained seamen who will contribute responsibly to the maritime field globally. Our training centre strives to be racially and culturally diverse community of students, and staff dedicated to creating a peaceful environment with each one treated with unconditional positive regard and acceptance.

Vision

Our vision is to create a maritime training centre known nationally and internationally that produces major gains in student achievement and a much more pleasant place for maritime training. We look forward to make this training centre a precious place where students recognize and achieve their fullest potential, so that they can make their best contribution to the maritime industry.
